About Me

I'm just a young woman of God in my early twenties, trying to figure out where in life the good Lord desires to take me. 

I love the Lord my God with all my heart and soul and mind, and my idea of a good afternoon is curling up with a nice book and a cup of tea. I enjoy listening to classical music (when I'm not blasting worship songs), baking sweets, reading books, listening to Christian podcasts, and studying the scriptures. I admit, I can be a fireball when it comes to contending for the faith. But outside of that, I seek to live a quiet and peaceable life in service to others.

I graduated college with a B.A. in Political Science with high hopes of becoming a lawyer one day. When the Lord intervened in my life, He changed the desires of my heart, prompting me to work to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching as I realized that my passion is working with children and telling them about their Creator. While I dream of becoming a wife and mother one day, I have surrendered my life to He who is faithful and is able to do exceedingly more than all that I could ever ask or think. May I simply follow Him wherever He leads me!

This blog will be a way for me to share about my faith in the Lord, my thoughts on the culture/politics of our world today, topics that pique my interest, how to navigate the current age as a Christian woman, and my own experiences that may comfort one of you to know that you do not struggle alone.

I am an evangelical Christian, specifically of the Reformed Baptist persuasion. I hold to the doctrines of grace and subscribe fully to the Five Solas of the Reformation, namely that:

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone, according to Scripture alone.

I am a conservative, but my views are still forming and taking shape as I mature in age. My political ideology seems to be ever-evolving as I grow in my knowledge of the word of God. Nevertheless, I desire that all of my convictions are rooted in my love for the Lord and His commandments revealed in Scripture.
